Aurora HiTec backward compatibility

Does any body know if the new Aurora 9 will accept Futaba modules as used in the 8UAPs transmitter? I understand the pin outs match. And the module is usually just the RF out system. Would be nice if some compatibility was available, at least for the 72MHz equipment. I know the 2.4 is not going to be compatible, that is unique between manufacturers and how they use the frequency hopping. But old 72MHz is pretty straight forward FM stuff with the tranny basic controlling PPM/PCM configuration, not the module.

Aurora A9 - Module Pinouts and Compability Hitec Spectra, standard and other brand modules are not compatible. Details and pictures.

Spectra Pro 72MHz PPM/QPCM Module - awaits finalisation of FCC Cert.expected to be on shelves mid Jan11.

Note re link post#2 above, especially for USA users. Whilst 2.4modules contain the RF output and are individually aproved by the FCC, the PPM/PCM modules are quite different and must be certified for each brand of Transmitter+Antenna that they are used in. Any mod to retrofit PPM/PCM module to an Aurora would not comply with existing certification.
