Funny, sad way at times.

I have been considering adding a line in my listing of conditions;
"I do not trade with children, regardless of chronological age."

and yet another thread to add to the list here.

The guy starts a thread making accusations against an unknown member. Tells a convoluted story lacking specifics, and then wants people to PM him so he can tell them who the "scammer" is. Keep in mind it's a public thread where he wants people to basically agree with him, then contact him so he can start a whisper campaign about another member. Don't ask for details though in the thread, just take him at his word.

Looks like he closed it after some people wanted better details. And then has the gall to say others are close-minded? Pathetic.

Oh, and this is the same member who started another thread a month ago alerting us to a fellow member as a possible "scammer" only to find later on they were not. The mea culpa at the end of the thread doesn't really do much.

So ya, I guess it's close-minded to ask for more details.....

I think that when a thread runs it's course,it should be closed after a reasonable time...I closed the "disappearing OP" thread yesterday, letting Billy have the last say...

But these guys going off half-cocked are bummers...I want to know who's to be avoided, but I won't be drawn in to the sort of thread you're talking about here.

They should get the facts together and post facts...not speculation...

Agree. They take the effort to start the post, but won't back it up in any substantive way. And then get defensive when asked for details.

Making matters worse on this last one was that the guy already started an earlier thread and was completely wrong with almost everything he said in that one, and later had to retract the allegation, but at that point I think it's to late. And in that case, it all went down in a matter of hours. It couldn't wait a day or two before calling someone out? Sheesh

On a You Tube channel I get a lot of death threats, I always snip them, put in a file, and can and do post them when needed. People should know that what they post may be with them for life and beyond. 1st amendment, how sweet it is.

After further reflection I now think threads should be closed,, actually the whole TT section should be closed.
