Graupner Folding Prop With Aero-Naut Blades

Never fitted one of these before got most of it right but not quite sure about the blades,do you have the writing on the blades facing forward and will one of the blades have the writing upside down, also how tight do spanner the nuts on the yoke,do you have the blades floppy so they will fold back or reasonably tight.

Cheers

Yes, writing forward (same as convex side forward) and blunt edge into direction of rotation on both blades. When unfolded it will look exactly like any other propeller. Bolts should just tight enough to prevent exessive slop in the plane of rotation, but allow the blades to fold back without any resistance.

For what its worth:

"Remember, when working out prop sizes, that Aeronaut assume a 42mm centrepiece, whereas Graupner assume a 32mm centrepiece. You can vary prop size by varying the size of the centrepiece."

Lifted from http://www.flyelectric.com/centrepieces.html

So prop diameter will be 10mm less than the spec size of the Aeronaut blades when using a Grapuner hub.
