Vintage covering for glow??

Hi Guys, now iīm building a Q-tee, but with a cox.... so i need help for covering, since all my planes are electric, doculam with tissue works great, but with fuel i donīt know, i really donīt like modern covers, but.... my wing is already cover with doculam, but the fuselage.... is naked..... so tissue with butyrate dope is ok??

I don't think so, Butyrate dope should be fine provided you don't get carried away with the nitro.

Tissue and butyrate are fine, but I prefer Polyspan. A bit heavier than tissue, but still very light, and very puncture-proof.

Yes, but don't Cox .049's work best with lots of nitro?

Just don't try doping the plane in the morning and flying it in the afternoon. Give it a chance to cure and you're good to at least 25% nitro. Don't leave raw fuel sitting on the dope finish.

I saw this stuff at Toledo and am dying to try it.

Compatible with everything and dries really fast.

I asked the high nitro UC and FF guys and they couldn't say enough about it.
