Yippee!
1/5 Scale Racing on The Git-Ir-Done Raceway in Griffin GA

Original Message is below. Much has Changed over the last year... we have a Dirt oval on my property now verses Git-ir-done 1.
You can go to the last 10 or 15 pages to know what's up these days. This is a private Track on my Property and we schedule races every so often. Introduce yourself for a invite to the next get together...... Thanks Marko [April 2014]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I had a really good time recently running my 1/5 scale Baja with Bsbauman and Manson....
I would like to take it to another level and see if we couldnt schedule a Monthly get together of like minded Large scale car enthusiast to come run with us. There are no tracks that cater to 1/5th scale vehicles that I know of.
There are currently 5 of us with large vehicles;
Me
BsBauman
Manson
Bronco
Goldcraft
I will post up some pictures of the track area when I get a chance. It will need re-working to make it good for these big suckers.
As if I needed another project, I bought a Baja 5B SS kit. I have another project I'm finishiing up first, then I'll start that build.
That Losi 5T will easily out handle a HPI Baja any day...
This is a great little bashing hole, but I want to also do some organized cave man racing down there.
Trying to stay on a track seperates the men from the Hacks!
I have raced with Bronco and Manson for Many years.... Bronco is a cheater! J/K
I like shovels and rakes and tampers. I'll help carve out a few turns and jumps...
Are there any cheaper alternatives? Like the king motor or rovan?
Sure, and also RedCat. That is what Bronco has.
I got this email the other day; it is quite a steal if you dont mind running electric.
i think electric is 8s? That would be real expensive for good batteries.
its 8s but you run it on two 4s packs in series. It will also run on 6s (two 3s packs in series), the only downside is runtime is crap compared to the gas.
I was looking at the redcat and the exceed 4wd buggy looks pretty cool too
bradley i was looking at your truck and after driving it you need to remove that rear sway bar, and maybe put in some softer rear springs. Having a radio that you can put some expo on the throttle or make a throttle curve will help big time too.
