I finally finished my first RCDP model. It's a 52 inch Piper Cub from Aeromodeller Magazine plans. I built a real model of this plane many years ago. It's great fun to fly. I wanted to create the same experience in RCDP.

anyone got another attack Chopper or some Choppers for this sim?

HI i have a problem with RCdeskpiolots control setup, m using it with a turnigy 9x it works fine but i cannot adjust the rudder, on control setup my rudder shows on Ch-5 where as it shud b on CH-4, even though i change it to Ch-4, it still shows on ch-5.. dont know why is it like this? ive done caliberation and everything but still cant get it right- i want rudder control for helicopters, can anyone help.. Thanks

Well any of the 3D programs that can convert to .x files useful in RC Desk Pilot.

Blender is just one of a half dozen or so 3D creation and editing programs.

So I guess this means you would like someone else to upload some Heli's, as you're not experienced with 3D modelling?

Usually it's not out of the question to use some older FMS model, especially if it's available in an .mqo format. and export it to x. in Metasequoia but I'm not sure what needs to be cut away and animated with helicopter 3D models.

It starts to rapidly get out of the realm of the casual flight sim user when you start contemplating the process.

Great looking cub .

Got a couple of 1912 era Wng warper monoplanes, The 1912 Caudron N

and the Borel-Morane Type "A"

Nice! I am having a hard time with the Caudron but I think that is because my controller didn't calibrate correctly. They are both sharp looking planes.


I've flown my Eastbourne model (Tritle). My model flies very much slower and has much less loading than the model here. Some day I'll tweak the params here and see if I can get the simulator closer to my experience.
