Is Esprit Models still in business? They don't answer their telephone(s) nor respond to their "Live Chat" support site.

Yes, they are still going strong. They are most likely very busy this time of year. Just keep trying.

One of the best model shops I deal with. Excellent range of equipment, although not competition glider oriented, and excellent web site (that is the stock information is up to date). I regularly buy from Australia and all shipments have arrived safely. The one time there was an error I got a free credit.

I personally answered your email about AVIA already twice, I would check your SPAM folder.

We have 4 phone lines open from 9AM-5PM. Highly doubt that somebody would ignore your phone call.

Zb/Esprit Model

ZB: How about just replying to my email? I asked about the missing control horns for the V-tail of the AVIA I purchased from Esprit.

Sounds like a simple e-mail problem. Hope you guys get this worked out.


They do have 3 models listed that are marked as F3J models. Maybe not world class but that would suggest they can stand up to the pressures of F3J launches and landings. I started a thread asking for pilot reports on them. So far, no posts.

My experiences with Esprit have been quite positive. They are honest and helpful. They do not carry everything I want, but no one company does. When I was interested in one particular plane, ZB told me they had it on order but could not tell me when they would get one in. It was not what I wanted to hear, but it was honest and I will not soon forget that. In another instance I messed up an outrunner I bought from them (unknowingly), and David told me to send it back and he would try to fix it himself. Amazing. So all in all they are at the top of the heap, along with a couple of others. 5 stars out of 5 from me.

I agree ... my experiences purchasing things from Esprit have been very good.

But I still have no response regarding the lack of V-tail control horns with my latest purchase.

And even more important ... still have no control horns.
