Vyper flown by Scott Stoops
Here's a video of what I think is the first official flight of the Vyper by Scott Stoops at the 2009 Arizona Electric Festival.
It was an unusually rainy, cloudy day...but I think the video came out well. Enjoy... |

Yep. First flight with the design, just feeling it out. The first sample literally just showed up from the factory. Got a lot lower and better later in the day right up to the midair. Thanks for posting that.

A big foamy in and put a direct hit on the Vyper. The foamy went straight the ground, and guess what? The Vyper kept flying - for a little bit. It finally landed, but the wing was ripped off. This morning they had a new wing on and had pretty much fixed it up.

Vyper harriers and flat spins look fantastic! Flies very smooth and it seems like it handles like a pussycat!

That is a very accurate statement. It has the Aspera's line-drawing ability, while now adding SHP's 3D ability and floatibility
.
