Sensor needed: track/standoff sensor, ie. follower.
Does a sensor exist that functions like so:
One device on person. One device on robot. Set standoff distance between two sensors with threshold. Robot tracks and follows person. Any ideas? |

The device would have to prehaps determine a left and right visual, so I'm thinking of something like a line tracker or one step further then that would be similar but incoperate a laser beam line, so why not 3 axis 3 sensor !?. Take a look at robot lawnmowers ??.
Whats the purpose of this 'device' you have in mind ?. Would'nt it be nice if your pocket QuadRotor would just 'follow you around', like a permenent cupholder ,lol. |
