Yes you could easily mount the Trex blades on a Shogun. The Trex blades are: more flexible(like corona blades) that's what lets them take a beating. However two negatives are that the blades weigh almost 2x the Shogun's blades and because they flex the disc(rotor) is not as rigid. Now the rigidity may not be an issue for you if you are not into aerobatics/3D, so if you are just hovering and sport flying give 'em a try. One last thing to keep in mind is the motor temp. The added load on the drive train(due to the increased weight of the blades) will put a higher strain on your motor. Make sure you use a heatsink on the motor and I would check the temp a few time during the first couple of flights. I hope this helps!
