Someone tried this battery? The original battery does not look like this.

That probably would not fit. This one looks like a replacement for the Solo Pro. The v911 battery has ridges protruding at its side. May need some modification for it to fit in.

Btw, do the stock Solo Pro skids fit this heli as drop-in replacement? In that case I wouldn't have to get different batteries, should I get one, as I have plenty of NE compatible lipos.

Its a drop in fit replacement for the Solo Pro skids, but I think it will require a bit of soldering to get the battery contact wires to the receiver. I am tempted to do this mod but I am hopeless in soldering.

Why solder on the receiver? Just cut the wires somewhere in the middle between receiver and skids when removing these, and solder the new one's wires on there. That shouldn't be too hard I think.

That's not the problem in my opinion.. the problem is the shift in the center of gravity... as the SP's batteries go into the canopy while the v911 has batteries swung underneath the frame (same problem as using the sx skid on the sp.. it will become tail heavy)

hope you do get one eventually SP! I think you will quite like the v911's flight characteristics

(p.s. the excuse I use with the gf when confronted with "is that another heli?" is..... "no")

The Xtreme Solo Pro skids has a screw that holds the lipo slot. Maybe it can be reversed to fix this but still we'll have to deal with the inversed wires...

Well I guess the real wait starts now. Flytexpress simply drop it off at the HK post office.

Alxlab mentions a possible solution for the CoG problem that would arise.

Another solution would be to use the Solo coaxial's skids, as these have the lipo facing backwards just like the V911. The Bravo SX skids would be an option as well, but have a different pin spacing, so these are not a drop in replacement.

does this heli have a cut off it the signal from the tx is lost and also does anyone know the range of the stock tx, just trying to gather a little info while i wait for mine to arrive
