Those are the Escale models once sold by Hobby lobby. Superb looking and flying airplanes.

For those that like these models, more power to ya!

If they are anything like the models that Hobby Lobby sold, most especially the ZERO then, be aware that many had issues with them like the Motor mount coming off etc...etc....

The ZERO at 39 inch wing span and P-47 at 41 inches, Nope, again, I will stick with the Park Zone P-47 jug!

Wouldn't want to sway anyone away from the ParkZone P-47(your speciality..) nor is that why I posted. I'm interested mostly because Hobby Lobby let these slide into defunct status without much notice.

This P-47 pre-dated the Parkzone model and had mechanical features that aren't as refined as Parkzone. They do fly well and have a respectful following.

The Zero is a one-of-a-kind in this size. Small issues aside (like most other brands), it's surprising to see them return virtually as they were. I would have thought electronic retracts would have been adapted for re-release but they didn't. Ah, the mystery of the foam airplane business...

For $10 you could put in some electric retracts and then you got a better looking plane then junkzone

I had the old Hun Hunter when they were sold by Hobby Lobby--it was a very good flyer, and handled rough fields well. Hobby Lobby added the Zero briefly, but dropped it before I picked one up--I won't make that mistake again! I'm set up for automatic notification when the RR one comes in.

Fwiw, the mechanical retracts in these are up to the task. No real need to go electronic on them as I see it. That keeps the weight down, one of the best qualities of these planes.

As for P-47s, this one is still at the top of the list for looks to me. The canopy is accurate and overall impression the same.

I was surprised at the acceleration with the four bladed prop and the climb rate.

Maybe HP has given new life to the producers of these enough that they will venture into some other WWII types.

This makes me excited. I have been trying to source all the parts to build one of these. lol

I had been wishing for a zero in the 1100 mm size.

I think these are what Hobby Lobby sold under the name E scale. I have the HL E scale p47 , sweet flyer . You have to beef up the cowl though cause it's really thin and will crack easy. Other than that it's all good.
