So after doing all of that I would have to make a new wedge up right? I was wondering if the replacement motor box came with a wedge since it does cover that area.

I believe it does....but do you want to replace a whole motor box to save having to make a wedge??? That's a lot of work... Just a couple of minutes with a piece of plywood and a razor saw or scroll saw or bandsaw..

85MG fits in without a problem. You just need to enlarge the opening a little with a knife. I would put one on the Elev before I put one on the rudder (or better do both). +1 for 6V with CC BEC.

I did BUT if I ever crash my 51, I need to know if I can run the motor from it on a smaller airframe that is cheaper.

I do like my 48....I love my 51. If....ummm....when I lose my 51 there will be another just like it. Same colors. ...just like a clone! I can fool myself and pretend it never happened.

So after a year hiatus I got my edge back up and flying again, felt awesome! I went with the hitec Hs 70mg for the rudder and the difference was immediate! No blow back, excellent rudder response. My wire gear has taken a beating from before, mostly from attempting to 3d lower to the ground (I land good normally). So it's bending from normal use and unfortunately I epoxied them in. So can someone put up a scale printable picture of that wedge so I can drill it out and make my own?

wheel collars don't fit....any suggestions?

edit: never mind, there was a little nub at the end of the one side of the axle preventing the collar from going on. I filed it off and they slide on just fine.
