Will this plane fly?
I rebuilt my goldberg GL wing after it was split off into 2 in mid air by IC flyer. Instead of the original polyhedral and 78 inch, now it is a 60inch(1.5m) and only have 2 dihedral. It have a flat center panel and 2 outer paner, hence 2 dihedral.
Built another fuse, a simple pod with hard balsa boom and v tails. I make the v tails big at about 110 degree. AUW is 20 oz. Could be lighter if its strictly non power. It now have a sp400 6v on 8AE600cells. I keep the CG as per the original wing, any issues?
Also is it too heavy at 20 oz?
What other points should I worry?

I think your plane will fly OK. I've flown my Goldberg Electra with only the center panel.. removed the tip sections. It flew OK, if not spectacularly.

There are quite a number of glider designs of around 58-60 inch span flying VERY WELL on that power set-up. I have, for example, a Hobby Lobby Skimmer 400 flying at 24.5 ounces on a 6v S400, 6x3 folding prop, and both 6 and 7 cell 600AE battery packs. Climbout and duration are even better with the 7 cell packs, of course!
I haven't tried it with 8 cells, but I can tell it would be AWESOME!!
Go fly it and HAVE FUN!!
