I have a PA extra MX, here are the specs
Specifications
Wingspan: 1.472mm / 58 in
Length: 1316.5mm / 51.83 in
All up weight: approx 1750g / 61.7oz /3.85lb (using thrust 50 motor and two 3c2200 lipo's)
Wing area: 721 sq.in
Wing loading: 12oz/sq.ft
I'm planning on using the Hacker A40 10s with a 14 X 7 Xroar prop in this plan. What battery or batteries would give me the best results? 10s manual says no more than 5c Lipos. Could the motor handle the two battery 3c, 2200 MaH setup?

Bill, if you want to use the 6 cell setup like the manual recommends, the A40-14S would be the best choice.

THanks, but bought the 10s, which is what the folks at hacker recommended. One guy on the Mx forum says he uses the 10S with a 4c batt and that it works great, guess I will give that a try. After all this, I'm thinking that probably should have spent the extra cash and just went the Thrust 50 setup
