I've been assured that it will be started soon.

My friend was waiting for some new parts for his lathe.

Tom, does your friend know anyone who can 'spin' aluminum? I really would like to get an open nosed spinner and backplate to fit my 1/4 'Bonzo'.

I can't think of anybody that does custom spinners. There must be somebody who can do it. The "who", escapes me, however.

For all you Ryan Aeronautical lovers I want to show you some of the documentation the San Diego Air & Space Museum has in their archives. they are the repository for all old Ryan Aeronautical records. I want to give a big shout out to Debbie Seracini the Assistant Archivist who sent these to me. I hope they are viewable since they are in pdf form.

I just came upon an old chattel Mortgage contract sale for a 1929 Eaglerock A-3 biplane S/N 802, C-8272 to my grandfather back in October 1929.

I never knew that he once owned a real biplane.

When I was a boy, I'd visit the starter/generator shop of an older gentleman. A prop was mounted above the side door to his shop. Years later when owning a car of my own that needing service, I visited the shop and the aging gentleman told the story of once owning a plane, but stubbornly getting out of flying when a license was required.

The short story and follow up
