Ballast fore the snipes - and I have been testing ballast for the Aerials for a couple weeks now -

Ballast pictured below is made from $2.00 worth of hack saw blades and left over fishing lead from last season.

34 grams and 75 grams

I also have the mother of all Stobels at 10.5 oz

Wow. What a great day flying.
I have the sun burns to prove it.
Winds were calm. Air was warm. birds were soaring, and company was good.
Only one glider needs repairs. You think a power pole would be easy to see.
Fun, Fun, Fun. what a great day.
Wayne

Today was pretty epic out on the sod - moderate winds - full ballast testing - 60 meter launches. with the snipe loaded to 306 gr - will have ot make more ballast to 90 Grams I think.

I cant wait to get back out -

how do you plan your weekend with weather reports like this ?

lol take a look at the report for Tuesday the 28th - according this report it says only 40% chance of rain and the descriptor is only Sun and clouds but the accumulations are monsoon like.

theweathernetwork is getting to be pretty unreliable.

I am interested in getting out this weekend for a contest - even if I have to drive to do it. If Anyone is interested let me know.
