Here is some video of my completed Harris Hawk. The extended legs proved inadequate in anything but calm conditions. I finally resorted to a clear vertical stabilizer.

Looks like a bird to me. Great video.

We also had to put a vertical fin on our birds. I like the Y and the inverted Y tail look to get the stability.

I'm really wanting to build a bird type plane, but I need to build in foam since I haven't been flying long. It would be easier for me to if the plans were in electronic format so I can cut out the wing profiles on my CNC.

I'm leaning towards something along the lines of the Hoey Vulture, I like the wing tip controls. I'm thinking that I could have the movable wing tips 3D printed to prevent the breakage that everyone seems to have.

Since I want to build a powered plane, this will be a modified version of whichever plans I use.

I've gotten a PDF copy of the plans for Blackie the Eagle (http://www.rcsoaringdigest.com/pdfs/...SD-2006-05.pdf) and I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can purchase an electronic copy of the Hoey Vulture plans, or an Ecopy of Eddie the Eagle plans.

Thanks.
