I was working for Honeywell in Bulgaria last 12 years and I am tired. I was thinking that I can move to the Airspace& Navigation …. but not in my country. My eyes are always in the sky. I'm a 40 years old “teenager” and nothing can't change this. 28 years I play with this hobby. Hope it was for good.
Some of my models

and lot of others... but I dont want to be bore.
………..
My hope is to find somebody who will be attracting to use my knowledge and my time.

May be this is too boldly.. but I am really hope. Sorry again.
All you need is in my profile. I apologize for my "fluently" english language....

Thank you!

It`s easy. Just foam and some color tape...
This D-VII is made by friend of mind- totally beginner. I just repair and made a test flight.

And some video...

A lighthouse keeper? LOL, now thats original. On rough days at work I threaten to buy a ride-on lawn mower and do that for a living . Lighthouse keeper sounds good though, but the lighthouse would have to be somewhere nice .

If you really want to do this you'll need to contact the large kit houses not us scratch builders. Most of us build and test "fly" (most of my initial tests really cannot be called flying....) our planes because it's our passion too so it goes against our grain to pay anyone to build or test fly for us.

I wish you the best of luck.

Beautiful fleet you've created there.

Man where can I get a job like that????

Oh thats right I have one.

Sorry guy just had to.

Its not all its cracked up to be. As a hobby you can set your direction as a job you are required to do things. As a hobby you screw up and crash or burn something up, its your money and time and only you and the wife are upset. If its your job the boss has a lot to say about it. Than when you go home you don't have that same want for the hobby you had. Plus you'll most likely have other jobs to do besides testing airplanes which aren't so much fun and tho's jobs will be about 70% of your work day.

Plus it really doesn't pay that well. But than I do really like my job so....

Somewhere in a lighthouse there is a lonely person saying... "I wish I could build custom guitars for a living.".

I'm so tired of designing circuit boards on a computer that I do all my plane designing on paper.
I miss the old drafting table days. I still have a beam compass and a pencil calous on my middle finger.

Howard, I don't feel sorry for you at all, buddy!

Think of it, you could have a slope for windy days , and a landing strip for calm days..that and several hundred feet of vertical Foamie plane storage..and those test glides from the top in the best Rutan ish' manner...

...and that great salt air encouraging all your favorite things to combine with oxygen...Hmmm !!! Time to re think this ... perhaps we could just write a song about it... hahahaha

Some things are best just left as hobbies, or maybe part time jobs.. if you get tired of it just put it away and come back to it when you're in the mood.
