Also, there was a gap between the futaba connector and the inside of the plug, though the fit was tight.
NOT the same plug.

If I'm not mistaken, they're wired differently too...

They are definitely both wired differently and different connectors. However, you ca just swap pins to fix the polarity, so if you got the connectors to fit rcmaster, that's pretty cool!

yeah I noticed the polairty thing, I guess I'm confused why spektrum would do this. Oh well its no big deal. A little off-topic, but you will be competing in IMAC this spring right Seth?

Yes, I designed it that way to keep the fuse as rigid as possible and keep the nose from torquing with fast power changes. It isn't totally necessary to run the trussing up past the wing bracing, but for the small weight penalty I think it's worth the stiffness.

Post pictures when you get started on it!

Yup, should be. I'll either be here in Ohio, or somewhere else in the NC region.

The A20-34S mounts to the back of the firewall with 2 screws with the shaft sticking out the front. Then, the Mamo prop hub attaches to the shaft with a set-screw. The Mamo unit should have pretty good instructions for installation, though honestly I never read them...

And, I'm using a 2S pack.

That should work just fine! The only exception is the aileron servo, the S60 will probably get blowback, but it will work...

hey do you guys use the standard Z-bend or mini e/z connectors? i used the Z-bend on my Yak but had some problems getting the ailerons set evenly when the servo is centered... i know mini e/z connectors would solve this problem
