What is the LIGHTEST method for filling in foam pores??

Hi Guys:
I m considering using foam from a piece of Sturdy Board for a wing....after soaking off the paper backing...this stuff is pretty light stuff..It can be sanded and carved nicely...however whats is the lightest method for filling in those pores? I've thought of Jap tissue applied with thinned Elmers...Any ...NEW..Hign tech really...really light light methods developed yet???? Other than Fiber Glass?...Way to heavey..
Regards,

I read on one of the electric web sites about using watered down elmers white glue and ordinary brown parcel paper. The kind that is thin like christmas wrapping paper! This method was offered as a substitute to balsa sheeting. After the glue dries, it is supposed to be easily sandable. I don't have experience using it but it is supposed to bo really light and makes the foam more rigid. I plan on giving it a whirl when opportunity arrises.
