Thanks David. One of these days I need to make a real drill guide out of brass.

First time together with the wing bolted down. Everything is lining up really well.

We are currently on 2.0.15, going to 2.0.16 very soon and 2.1.0 is not far away, maybe late May.

When was the last time you asked Futaba, JR or Spektrum for a feature and they did something about it in a few weeks?

I'm amazed!

Well, after just a few weeks the OpenTX develop team has my failsafe idea up and working. I downloaded the latest nightly build and got to test how it works using the desktop Companion simulator.

I'm so impressed and stunned that I could ask for a feature and now be able to test it. Should be released soon.

Hi Mike,

I have been following your build thread since the beginning. Your building is truly craftsmanship, that plane looks great. I will keep following to see the final completion and know it will be a work of art.

After completing the wing bolt setup I glued the wing hold down plywood tongue into the wing with epoxy and rechecked the wing alignment with the tail before the epoxy set. Measured from the center back edge of the tail to each wing tip.

I then started the lower wing fairing by adding a plywood front on the fairing that is spaced back a bit so the wing can be removed without binding on the fairing.
