Are you an rc hoarder?

I have counted, I think, all my plane/heli projects, from kits to flying condition, and I have 66 aircraft!! I was shocked...I guess I'm an rc hoarder....are you? What's your count?

Later,
David

In the year I have been into this hobby I have bought/built 9 planes. I will catch up though.

47 planes, 3 helis, and 7 or 8 kits. I guess I qualify.

Watching a few episodes of Hoarders motivated me to throw away and donate some stuff - for about one week.

I have a friend who has a detached building from his house for storing kits, assembled aircraft, and a lawn tractor. The HO and Lionel train sets take up the room in the lower level of his house.
He will not sell me his unbuilt Sig Cessna 150 kit.

I would not call it hoarding, or a person a hoarder. Although that term simply means accumulation, its context is often used meaning to keep something away from others.

I would like to build all the kits that I possess; I do not intentionally keep them from others. But, naturally, sometimes there just isn't enough time in life and I sell some or even give some away. But in essence I am not a greedy model buyer. I do not thrive on the quantity of models in my possession.

Therefore I prefer a more respectable word: collector.
