I love flying in the morning. And I really hate soccer.

grass maggots

I'm not a morning person, but anytime except for winter you're going to need to be a morning person to fly at our local park. We did Friday morning dawn patrols last summer. may do again this summer

yes I have done it on my SC. I mix in 30% of rudder to the ailerons, works well.
I also have this mix on my other aileron models.
I recently gave more throw to the elevator (3rd hole on the horn). It was too responsive so I put it back to where it was on the first hole.

Ok it's raining and I'm bored so I want to stiffin up the elevator wing tonight. When I tighten the screws all the way it still moves around a bit. I took it apart and it looks like the holes that the screw casings go threw are kind of wore out. I think I have an idea on how to fix this, but would love to hear what others come up with before I do something.

decided to experiment and fly the cub tail heavy on wednesday. took off all noseweight. she went straight up like a rocket. used elevator heavily to keep her level. this plane can fly no matter what. any other plane would have wrecked for sure.

I'm 66, been playing golf for 50 years, I don't think I have beat anybody yet.
However, a bit over a month ago I got my first ever Harley. An old 883 Hugger.
In spite of it having the worst set of aftermarket handlebars ever. I have put 1200 miles on it the first month. My hands are still numb.
Got to get some mini apes.

yeah, bikes are very addictive - easy to rack on the miles.

made a very bad mistake of making a 250 mile (one way) ride on a kawasaki ninja when in my 20s. strangest thing is that my hands didn't feel so bad - in spite of the forward-leaning nature of the bike. its when i stepped off the pegs that my feet shrilled with pain. go figure.

I've been riding since the age of 13... but the old bones are taking longer and longer to mend so I think my two wheel days are about over...
