Does P-o-r-n-ography on HobbyKing bother anyone else, or just me?

I have accidentally stumbled across 2 pornographic images on HobbyKing, and it really bothers me. If it bothers you too, please send them a message via their Support Center (http://support.hobbyking.com/home --> Submit a Request). Let's get them to fix this.

The pornographic images are the profile pictures for a couple of users:

1) username is "scottc" and I first accidentally came across his pornographic picture here under the "discussion" area, about 5 comments down:http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...ontroller.html

Also: 2) username "LuckySkill"
I first stumbled upon it here, under the Discussion tab, also about 5 posts down: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dproduct=20693

I first complained to HK on 24 Nov, and they replied the same day with, "Thank for your email. We will informed our relate department to follow. Thank for your support!." They then closed the complaint and marked it as "solved."

Late last night I noticed they had *not* removed the images, so I complained again. They responded promptly with, "Thank you for your valuable comments! We have forwarded your email to the related department for further review. At HobbyKing.com, we understand the importance of good customer and are always looking for different ways to improve. We appreciate your valuable inputs and Thank You for your continual support! Look forward to serving you again in the near future!"

Again, they closed the issue and marked it as "solved." I'm afraid they will ignore it again, so if this bother you, please send them a note of your own. I am quite angered by it, as I have told many of my acquaintances where I bought some of my products, and they include women and youth who should not have to be subjected to explicit material when looking for Christmas gifts.

Once HobbyKing resolves this issue, I will close this thread. Let's give them the push they need!

Or just get over it, I can see much worse just walking through my local newsagents store while searching for the modelling magazines, or doing any sort of image search on google.

i would not consider either one of those images pornographic. the 1st one is just a pair of boobs. you can see more on almost any beach during the summer or just open more or less any magazine and you will see the same. we have a 'newspaper' over here called the sun. page 3 is always a topless model and has been for many many years. dont buy the paper (or any other) myself, but my 10 year old son could go and buy a copy if he wanted to.not that he would,he would rather have sweets!
the 2nd image you can not even see any boobs, she has her hands over them.

when you said pornographic i assumed you meant legs open kinda stuff. what you saw is not po rn. don't sweat the small things mate. life is short.

HK is making money. Why should they worry about trivia like this?

Those reviews and comments - along with HK's reply to the OP - are written in such 'Chinglish' at times, it wouldn't be any surprise if they written by their staff.

They sell us cheap stuff for our hobby. Some's good, some of it isn't. Life is now like that, live with it.

Yep, the world at large have better things to worry about than an avatar image that shows female breasts.

Just curious, had that been a picture of a man, exposing his breasts, would you have felt like it was a filthy image?

I am with you. I was reading a discussion and ScottC was in the thread, turned around to see my 9yr old getting an eyeful. I am opening a complaint now.

Thanks for spear heading this!

ok so i understand both sides of this, but honestly whether it bothers you or not, does nudity of any kind belong on a rc hobby website? no, of course not. I would think that a company the size of HK would probably want to know if its there maybe not tho...I would, so Is a complaint warranted? sure, i think so if one feels they need to do so.

with that being said +1 to fastback, because yup i opened em just to see the pic lol, what bothers me is that she's smoking we all know that its bad for you!!!. but to each his own

I must need a larger monitor... I can barely make out only one of them.

You may get a point from RCG for linking to it..

I went back and looked 3 times .... just to be sure.

That image has nothing more than a womans breasts in it. What a person takes away from that image is all in their mind. I don't consider the image sinful, harmful, evil, vile or prone to make me have bad thoughts. However, just below that image is a cat carrying a bomb. Now, that worries me.

For anyone that has a problem with that image, don't ever let your kid look at a National Geographic.
