I have one working, so yes.

Problem I ran in to, is the vector directions look like hooking up the aileron is all that is needed for power and data.
Didn't work for me, but then I recalled I had to use the separate 5v line to power the RX.
Took the yellow signal wire from the aileron connector and put it in the 3rd spot on the 5v power connector (servo type) and plugged that in to the PPM rx and it's good to go.

Hope this makes a little sense. Also, this is on a quad.

On my fixed wing, the RX receives power from the Aileron connector so it would only need that one connector from Vector to Lemon PPM.
Not sure why the power to RX is different between the two configurations in Vector, but it is.

@Woody
I have the Vector, and the Lemon PPM rx in the mail.
I'll be using them on a fixed wing plane.
So, does the serial data come in on the ail connector?

Yes, it does.

If you haven't had a chance, download the manual and read it about 12 times.
Lots to sink in.

Here's from the manual on the PPM connections:

Serial PPM (SPPM) and S.BUS™ (serial modes): only the “Ail” connector of the receiver harness should be
connected to the SPPM or S.BUS™ output of your receiver. Your receiver’s outputs are programmed in the
Vector, as described later.
Note: Connect only the “Ail” wire to your receiver when using a serial mode. Never connect other wires from
the receiver harness to your receiver if you are using a serial mode!
To reduce wiring, if you use a serial mode you can use a needle or small probe to carefully pry up the
tabs of the other connections of the receiver harness, remove the unused wires, and save them for later use. Or,
just trim off the extra wires.

=========================

Using the PPM stream with a Flight Controller

Receivers, including the Lemon Rx DSMX Compatible PPM 8-Channel Receiver, normally output channel pulses in the sequence sent by the transmitter. Hence, they cannot correct for incompatibilities such as that between a transmitter (such as the DX8) which uses a fixed standard Spektrum TAER channel order and flight controllers such as NAZA which require AETR sequence. For transmitters such as the DX9 in which the channel order can be changed this is not an issue.

Lemon are currently  developing an updated version  of the DSMX-Compatible PPM 8-Channel Receiver firmware that will allow the user to switch between TAER and AETR receiver output using the push button when the input is TAER.

Due to production equipment upgrade and the telemetry V2.0 design the Lemon engineers are busy but Lemon should have the new PPM receiver firmware released by the end of January, 2015.

Hi everyone!

We will be having special deal for Chirstmas. One thing that I am sure is the DSMX stabilizer + DSMX telemetry combo starting this weekend til December 26. It will be priced at 54.80 under the catalogory that calls"Christmas Speical"!

Better get this package if you are flying in tough weather during winter!

Best Regards,

@Woody
I downloaded the manual, and read through it.
I'm on vacation in Arizona now, but I'll be back home next week, so I can plug the Vector, and rx together to see how it works.
Thanks for your help.
I'm sure I'll have more questions when I start working on it.

Updated Receiver instructions

I have replaced the instructions with an updated set here:

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...97&postcount=2

If you have printed out the original version you may want to replace them.

Changes are:

1) Minor typographical corrections.
2) An explanation of the channel order issue for the PPM receiver
3) Amended procedure for correctly setting User-set failsafe. This now will work for all current and future Lemon receivers with User-set failsafe capability.

Thanks to Rick (Choochoo22) for alerting me to the last two.

John

*edit* I think I'll ask this question in the Afromini thread instead.

receiver binds always, but in failSafe

Hi very good ;
I recently purchased a receiver The DSMX Compatible PPM receiver channel 8, today I started my new project using the receiver for ground station RLINK-spectrum Dx9 for not using wire behind the station.
Well my problem is that I link DSMX receiver 22ms and links, but always on the LED mode failsafe and RLINK PPM signal not detected.
I'm doing something wrong or is defective receiver , I've read the manual many times, the receptor binds but always led ignition faillsafe mode.
Could someone tell me, thanks.
