Well, I hope you guys are having better luck than I. I broke another prop today in flight. No, the props have not touched anything. From looking at the broke blade and where it seperates from the hub, you can see where it's flexing (you know how the plastick will turn white when you bend it back and forth).

So, I have some genfans coming.

I fly pretty aggressive (3-4 flips in a roll) and I am hitting the throttle pretty good when I do the flips. I think it's this flexing that is causing it, either that or when i do a fast forward flight.

We keep everyone updated. This time, a green prop broke. It was balanced real nice so that is not it.

I'm running out of my HK props, ran thru 32pcs in total in around a month, one broken prop/day average

And i'm only flying 1450 kV motors, not like most of you guys 2600 or 1800 kv's

Only from impact.

I am thinking of trying some apc props. They have an 8x3.8sf or a 9x4.7sf. Not sure if the 9x4.7 would be too much of a load for the escs. However, they also make some electric props and the 8x6E prop would be about the same load as an 8x4.5 prop... or real close. At least this is what I am thinking. They make a pusher and a tractor in those sizes.

Would a pusher prop work?

APC's are good but too expensive to replace.

Not on this kind of fun-quad IMHO.

But a pusher that is flipped would be the same as a counter rotating prop right?

Yes. I do plan on putting together something for the FPV guys. It will probably take a while but it's probably going to be my next CNC project.
