JD, Are the Elevator Pushrods the ones that came with the Kit? They look thicker than the one's that I have in Mine. Maybe it's just an optical Illusiion or I need new glasses

That looks like the Stock Motor Mount, But what motor are you using?

I decided to go with a Scorpion Sll-3020-890Kv, and I'm looking to get around 650 to 750 Watts. That will depend on how many Amps it pulls.

The Scorpion is rated for 45Amps Continious, But I'm going to try to go just a little above that. I'm looking at using a 11x8e APC or a Xoar 12x7. Bench testing will determine what I'll go with.

Well, That's Good. At Least I know that I'm Not Color Blind. I know that it's not the Stock Motor, Because the stock motor is ................BLUE

On the main LG the wheel pants are different as they use a nylon rivet. Here are some pic's.

The Super Taiji EP ended up at 3lbs 11oz with a 2650 blue lipo. I need to get some different props but with the 14x7 that she is wearing now I get 705 watts. I may not need that but.....

Mine is almost done, I'm waiting on a servo extension for the aileron servo, Should be here tomorrow. I thought I had the ones I needed. But I only had one.

I'll finish it tomorrow, Balance it, and do some prop tests. I just know that as soon as I get it ready for maiden, It'll start raining.

J. D. That plane looks great! I will need to venture down to Port Orchard to watch it fly.

Do either you or Jim have any experience with the Vanquish? It is slightly smaller than the Taiji, but I wonder how it compares otherwise. I would love to get a 4s pattern plane and the only real options I can see are the Vanquish, the Osiris, and the Tai-ji. And the foamie from HK, but I would put that a step below.

In my experience the World Models planes are very well built, and the Taijis I have seen fly very well (though they were big, almost 2m size).

BTerry, I think Jim has a Vanquish and a Osiris, He would be the one to talk to on that.
