What has a mobile phone got to do with it?

And normally birds won't show up on a radar unless it is a rather large flock. The density of their bones and feathers is not very conducive for the reflection of radar signals.

not as such. Cody said it would be picked upon radar due to the RF it would have been emitting.

Conversation went on about radar does not work like that........ sherman starts on about pelicans eating phones and getting in the way of aircraft over Canterbury, I say no way would a pelican fly over canterbury, too many habibs with guns......... try and keep up with the program narcs!

Sorry gouch. I got the humour but missed the program. Sherm takes some special understanding. I'm not sure why I can communicate with him so easily .

There are a lot of people on here that need "special" understanding.

You blokes really believe that they can tell if something is 1m and that it is an RC craft? They saw 'something' and decided to blame it on RC.

actually just watched flightradar24.com and a qantas 737 came in from the south and was just under 6000 ft over Bankstown enroute to land at Sydney, so safe to assume it was on approach. Just my take, someone who knows more can certainly correct me if needed

Which is what I offered earlier. If that has what has happened, then it's as bad as if it did indeed happen as is being reported

There is a video on Vimeo put up by a Sydney FPV pilot flying a twin star at 5000 ft in controlled airspace departing and landing at the field next to the M5 at Riverwood. Very foolish activity indeed.[/QUOTE]

All airspace is is controlled anywhere its all controlled by CASA
Here there and everywhere .

I use to fly at riverwood all the time and I never seen a twinstar
Or anyone do long range FPV they always stayed in the park
Do they know who it was btw? Or what happend to him
