yes, DC/DC inside, so 7-13v input ,rf power out the same.

Was the noise there on the ground in close or just when you got further away? Cause using it i get no interference on the bench so im hoping it may be different with the 5.8g video link.

Ha!! But well, it might be. Problem is that there are many differen DC/CD converters around with all different switching frequencies. It's shielded, and the ripple looks good too.

Did the ripple kill you or interference?

You have a 5.8G video link?

Forget about interference on 5.8G. You are safe. The only show stopper could be ripple, but the specs given are not that bad and I asume your periphals (i.e. the vtx) have their own aditional filteres.

Sid,

I sent you an email to see if you have in stock the RangeLink UHF and I had no answers.
Please tell me if you have or when will arrive more units.

There are two basic forms of EMI, Radiated and Conducted. Our hobby is very dependent on the "system". In other words, one person may have success and with the same DC/DC converter, another may not. Switchers, oscillators, amps and even micro processors all add to your "system" noise. That said, two DC to DC converter brands that seem to routinely perform well are, AnyVolt and Castle. Ferrite beads and LC circuits can help too. DPCAV sells a VTx with filtering built in and a small LC board as well.

Great vid. Above and through the clouds is great! What head tracker are you using? Is it plugged into the RL tracker port. I seem to be getting a bit of jittering with my HT and the RL tracker port.

Nice video! Was that with RL beta firmware and 1280MHz VTx?

That's the sliders on the side of my Hitec Aurora 9. I don't have a head tracker...It would be cool to get one someday though.

@wmartin - that video was with the old firmware and plenty of separation between the RL and the patch. The new firmware was better on 1280 than the old, but then I threw a SAW filter into my Lawmate today and it cleared it up for me.

So, now...who holds the record for RangeLink? Brifa? I've seen the screen shot, where's the video bro? I'm calling you out.

I'm going after that record with my new plane.

Thanks man, the camera is a PZ0420...probably the best fpv camera available in my opinion. Search PZ0476 if you need it in a metal case. I don't have the color set up right, that's why it looks a little washed out.

Everyone I've ever talked to that had one has only had good things to say about them.
