Help!
NEED help locating needle valve

I posted this yesterday but perhaps in the wrong section.I recently purchased a mccoy .049 diesel model plane engine. My intention was to just run it for fun however the needle valve is broken. So my question to you is where do i find a replacement needle/ or would a spray bar/needle from another manufacturer fit? Thanks, here is a pic of said engine.

Thanks-

If the spraybar is still OK, it might be a better idea to get a repro needle made up, especially as I think the McCoy spraybar is pressed in. Jon Fletcher in Australia does superb work and his repro's are indistinguishable from the originals

FWIW, I've got a few "new old" original spraybars.
Should you need one, please contact me.

You may need to replace the special type o-ring on the contra-piston, they don't last long and if they leak, engine won't start.

The spraybar seems to be in good condition and I was able to remove the broken needle. So I think I just need a new needle valve(and o-ring), thank you.

You are correct, i dissasembled the engine and some white shavings fell out. I later realized these were parts of the o-ring.

I've been looking for a McCoy .09 diesel needle (the first version) for months, with no luck. I may have a spare needle I can send you, but I'll have to check. That way, at least ONE of us can get an engine running!

I've got lots of the correct o'rings you need. They're actually a flat fibre washer.Send me a message with your address and how many you need.

Sorry for the delay, I got your PM. I'll check tonight to be sure and let you know, but I'm 99.9% positive I have a spare. I'll shoot you a PM when I get home from work.
