Of course, everybody wants to make video but for learning I really think its worth doing at first.
An 808 #16 v2-D lens Keyfob camera will give you 120 degree vision, video out for your FPV and record 1280x720p video onto a Class 4+ Micro SD card for about 40 minutes. See Tom Frank's thread which got so big it started again here and the recommended seller has it here.

It's what those who attach cameras to lighter craft like to use, as the quality is pretty good for the price = £29 / $46. Might even want to add one to your Go Pro setup later as an extra for shooting PIP video pointing backwards, straight down or for use as a 'hat cam'. It weighs 16g and comes with the cables you need for FPV (direct video output only, but audio is recorded).

Something's obviously goes wrong with this charger.
If you plan to continue in this hobby, do yourself a favor and buy a good charger for $50, you won't regret it.

A word of wisdom to you all, do not ever use a charger that tells you when the battery is charged by lights only. You have to make sure that the charger actually shuts off.

I charged a 3S lipo with the poly charger sold by Tower hobbies, when the light turns red on the charger, indicating that the battery is fully charged, I expected the charger to turn off. It didn't, and within 1/2 hour later the battery caught fire and between the smoke and water damage our house and all possesions were destroyed. This cost State Farm Insurance $640,000, along with 56,000 paid by Mercury for the car in the garage. The car melted.

It was all repaired, but the emotional scars left with my wife took years to heal. We were not physically hurt, just emotionally hurt. We gained nothing from the fire because we just took out a home equity loan and completely re-did the house before the fire.

Lipo fires are hot, they spread fast. Never use these types of chargers. When I got my Phantom, I immediately threw out the charger. I only use digital lipo chargers now and I charge outside, even though they indicate zero amps when complete I don't trust that they shut down.

I have this hobby for 20 years, helped to pioneer nitro to electric conversions, never thought that this would happen to me.

Do not trust these chargers. Just get the cheap digital chargers from Hobby King.

I got a metal ammo box for charging and storing batteries.

BTW.. the other thing to get asap is a battery minder voltage thingie.. plug in and make sure cells is in fact 4.2 v each BEFORE flying.
Don't expect a battery from a green light charger to always be right. check. before dropping a quad. ;-) just saying.

Modest FPV System For Phantom Quad

Fellows, saw this on www.hobbywireless.com and wondered is this
the sort of setup you were talking about.

It is called the FPV 584 Plug and Play 5.8 GHZ 400m Wireless system,
price about $120.

Have attached a page showing features.

Are any other ittems needed for this setup?

best, LNLP

We store ours in lipo bags inside a metal ammo box.

Hi guys, I wanted to give you all a sneak peek at some of the video I've created using the Phantom. We (RCG) will have a full review of the phantom coming in the next week or so, in the meantime, enjoy the video.

Notes about the video:
It's a stock Phantom, with balanced props.
There is no post stabilization done on the finished video.
Shot with a GoPro Hero HD 2, using the included camera mount.
Watch in HD at full screen for maximum effect.

I'm waiting for the LayerLens for GoPro3 to protect the camera’s lens before using it with the Phantom though.
Should be available soon.
Looking at the new HERO3 lens housing it's obvious something is coming that will just snap on

Best Buy or anywhere Hero3's are sold. Try Amazon or the GoPro website.
