So with that in mind I've been searching around for a wheel balancer that will hold the 40 series Trenchers, which turned out to be easier said than done. I had even considered making my own, but then I came across one made by HPP in Germany, (http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct...k_QuQlw59_vyZg) which is able to take almost any rc wheel in exhistance, so I have ordered one.
Update........the balancer arrived today, but it doesn't take the Trenchers, I've emailed them and they say that there is a V2 coming out in the next month, I am sending it back and will get the new version when it is released. The one that arrived was not only a great design, but incredibly well made, well worth the extra money. Such a shame that the shaft wasn't just 1/2" longer.

To the tonka summit guys who use proline wheels and tire. I just ed learn that if you leave the truck setting on its wheels and tires that it will leave a flat spot on the tires. The foam on the the inside tire is like memory foam. So to avoid this place your truck on something high enough to raised the tires off the ground.

Just a Lil note .

Yup, been doing it since the beginning. Actually, this advice was given by Replayreb at the very beginning of this thread. Good to mention it again, even for stock wheels users like me it needs to keep its wheel of the ground between runs.

So, is that how you charge your summit ?

I use a small coffee can. It balances perfectly and holds all my spare parts and traxxas tools.
