Dan, amazing we were both out there this week. Area B is at the north end of the slope which is quite long and appears to run down to Area C, where you were at. The LZ behind the slope is grassy and would be fine to land an F3X model there. I was hoping this might be an sloping option during the summer months but sounds like I'll have to find another sloping option. It would be nice to find a decent coastal site with an LZ that works for F3X models. Cascade Head would seem to fit that bill but with the bird sanctuary there I am not so sure it would be a good idea.
Tom, does the slope near Cullaby Lake face NW?
Absolutely. I applaud your push for a NW site. That wind is so predictable and smooth.
