ESC with BEC (50-60amp)

I'm looking for a reasonably priced 50-60amp ESC with BEC, can anyone point me towards a good brand/esc?

The castle Creations 60 is exactly what I'm looking for although I'm not sure I want to pay $100 for it. Any one have ideas? (I suppose I could buy one and buy a BEC seperate, but I'd like it to be included) Thanks in advance!

It might be worth it to go for a separate BEC. Some of the Chinese BECs have serious problems.

A lot (all of it ) depends on how many servos you are going to use and how many cells.

The Guard 60 is supposed to have a 3A switch mode BEC and it is $40. It also has a lipo monitoring circuit that moniters each cell, but I don't know if I would bother with that. It is supposed to handle 5 cells. My next purchase will probably be either the Guard 40 or 60.

The web site says it is linear, but someone else posted a spec sheet this morning that says switch mode. I am going to email UH and see what the story is.

I have a Pentium 40A that is also made by HobbyWing and the quality is very nice. It looks good and runs good.

For applications up to 60A on 6S, all I use are S60 ESCs from UH. And they're only $28. It does not have a BEC, but it's not missed since I need around 8A peak to drive my digital servos.
