Cox sure start 6$

Direct from the source:

note that the site uses non-standard microsoft script, so you'll need to use explorer probably to get it to work right.

Hmm, that is a bit worrisome, especially since my father has just become a victim of identity theft this past week...I'm tempted to find out another way to buy it.

Airbus,

The offer is only to the USA!

Kenbene,

I am 99.9% sure they don't take Paypal.

Matt,

Don't worry the transaction will be fine. Nothing on the net is 100% safe. Just by posting here people could hack into your computer!

LAter,
TIm

you can call them via telephone and let them type your info into the website instead-
Phone: (719) 372-6565 .

Their website shopping cart is fickle, I have about five different browser types between all my computers, only ms IE works right there. The error messages always mentions something microsoft, so I assume it's the usual microsoft buggy script, that has only been tested on IE. It is possible that the site will only accept orders from the United States.
I've ordered with them before a few times and all was fine.
I doubt paypal will work, this is a real company- estes/cox, so they probably only take credit cards.

I dont have problems with the website, the problem for me is that is not a secure server (https), so anyone can get your credit card number. I have bought thinks on the net a lot of times but always from secures servers, never a problem, so this time I will past.

I know that this is an offer for U.S. but I am a Pilot so I have an adress in state too

Got it to work, and ordered a couple of engines. There is a lot more to security than https. Its a start, but certainly not a cure all. The fact that they are requiring the use of Internet Exploder tells you they are not very serious about security.

It looks more, and more legit.. I ordered yesterday, and got a confirmation email today from an actual person (Naomi Copper)

Really seems on the up and up.

Cool. Way to go COX.. Awesome deal!

Alot of people have been wondering about the site's security on the 'universe, too. The general consensus is that it's A-O-K. A few guys have even called Estes to verify the site's authenticity, and have been assured that the site is legit and safe (as safe as all this internet buying can be). I'm confident that my order will be processed just fine and that my CC info and indentity will not be bothered. The only thing that's bothering me is that now I feel like I should buy more of these engines just for the glow plugs!!!
