What are those pink things sticking out of the firewall? they look like tubes of some sort.

I am interested but I have a quick question about this as a potential nitro plane. I have a 60" eagle 2 with an evolution .46 on it. I'm fairly new to matching planes to power sources so I need some help. The flying part is fine. I've been flying a foamy p-47 for a year now and am pretty proficient with it. I wouldnt expect to do any 3D stuff with the evolution .46 but I would think that it could at least do some nice sport flying at decent speed until I get something a little more robust. Please let me know what you think. I will be traveling up to Maryland from NC tomorrow actually so I would pass right by you. I would be coming back home on Sunday. Thanks.

Ment to ask if the wings come off or are they fixed.

Your Evolution 46 would be just fine flying this plane. But later on if you were to put something more powerful like an O.S 55AX or Evolution 60. This Zlin is a great flying plane with lots of potential to grow into. This is my second one.

Oh, and to answer your last question about the wings. The main wing has been joined together with the aluminum wing tube and epoxy for added strength.

Everything sounds great but unfortunately without the wings being removable I won't be able to get it home. I probably could have tetrised it into the explorer with the wings off but with our luggage and a full plane I don't think it's gonna work.

The main wing is removable, although its a one piece wing. The wingspan is only 58" and is not very large.

Oh. Ok. That's different then. I thought you meant it was binded to the plane. You have a few locations listed in your post. I will be in Wash DC at the zoo on friday and then in Fredrick MD on saturday. Id like to stop by and take a look at it. Once I figure out what my time plans are I'll give you an idea of what time I'd be passing through VA. Thanks.
