We flew most of the way at 2000 and it was smooth as silk, when we went down below about 1500 it was fairly rough. We were a little low coming in over those trees, I think Doyle was watching that Cessna in front of us and he stayed high for so long on final so we just went low. It was busy right around that time we got there. Plus the published procedure for us to go out over the water and do a right base for runway 4 got changed about 10 miles out and everyone was directed to go out west and come in for a left downwind for runway 4, then after we went out and circled around to come in that way they started announcing for people to go over the water and do a right downwind for Runway 4......crazy. Sun n Fun it is the same procedure every time I like that better. You may have some wackos that ain't flying the procedure right but it is the same procedure. I have been so busy I have not had time to do our departure Gainesville Arrival video, maybe this weekend.

Oh careful, don't get this thread punted to the basement...

Hi Gents, it's been a while.

I've got some FlightGear screenshots of late, nothing in particular order,

'cept I've been making a Motorcycle GP course on the Isle of Man, now that FG has 2.0 scenery, we have lots of secondary roads, so I started making motorcycles for FG.

BTW the above shot is at LOWI at night. Rembrandt lighting effects.

But for now I've been resurrecting some old WWI aircraft 3D files from another sim I've contributed to.

FSX is now on steam. Sale @ 3.99 - not sure about US or other county users.

But i have it mainly because Dovetail, the company behind many other sims including train simulator. Have taken it over, and have now implemented multiplayer via Steams servers. NO MORE GAMESPY, being as GS went down the pan, you can now connect via your steam id.

Plus Dovetail plan on creating extra content and further developling the sim.

All good in my book. but be warned, the sale ends, in 30hrs, (time now is 12:31GMT)

my steam id - [GO] Maniac

add me.
