Saito 220 and OS 160 Questions

Hello all,

I have some questions about my OS 160 and my Saito 220 glow.

On my OS 160, 14 pound, giant big stik, take off acceleration and climb is a bit sluggish with my 18X6 Zinger wood prop. Would an 18X8 improve the acceleration and still allow the engine to stay in the proper rpm range? Would the airplane tend to float more when landing?

On the Saito 220 glow, what is the thread size of the prop shaft? I need this to buy the correct adapter nut for mounting the spinner correctly and I cannot find it in the manual that comes with the engine.

Thanks for your help.

Saito 220 crankshaft threads are M8 x 1.25 mm (PG15 of the Saito manual, dimension "K")
