You can just add a wedge on top of the wing to bring the step smoothly down to the hinge line. That'll cure it.

This looks good, I've been looking for a nice twin engin type plane be he is a little too big for me as i want to make a micro, might be using disposable styrofome pic nic plates for material, could someone tell me how to scale this down to about 1/3 or 9-12" wingspan, would it be best to do it in the PDF or is a there a scaling option in sketchup?

33% A-10 this is very small, will prob make a better glider than rc plane but the wingspan is about 12" what you asked for

This is my first time posting from a PC (normally only every use my iPhone due to never being near a PC) for a month or so, just went to download and save the 33% version yo9u did for me but its not on medafire anymore, I printed out the black and white plan guide from your first post and it looks about right, it's almost 12"

for the type of setup I want to try (try being the operative word) I may just get away with this span, what span is your little lad's plane?

im in north wales, i took the 33% plans down as i made a glider version have a go at downloading that one ill put link below, its a nice size for what you want and everything will fit together better as its made for 6mm depron.

Thanks, the Glider size should be about perfect for me to use my 9Eagles brick and a spare motor, I'll get some spare link rods ordered.

EDIT:- Score! Just remembered I have some sheets of green 7mm "floors2go" XPS up in the attic, time for me to print out them plans!

Ok so I went on to try and make a Glider from this first, I started by cutting out the taped together sheets......

Thanks and Yep, it's this stuff http://www.floors2go.co.uk/accessori...-foam-underlay had almost a whole pack left over from doing the floor, it looks like one pack of 19 could yield about 38 gliders.

It feels like it has more flex in one direction than the other, much like thin balsa sheet my edge are a little rough after using scalpel set, I'll cut a nicer one using the variable hot-wire cutter I made from a dimmer switch and a lighting transformer, once I dig it out from the attic that is.
