The stella’s structure is similar to a standard full size dlg, with stronger wing and one piece fuselage, and it flies not like a elf too.

I wish I could, but the builder who make the stella is quite busy with our new project Solar, a full size dlg in the middle price range. you can have a check :

Because this one we can make it orange. LOL

Anyone still flying their Stella? Took mine out for an hour today and had an absolute blast. Specked it out to 200m+ a couple of times.

On my Radio the model is showing 15hrs :30mins, which is testament to how durable this little beauty is.

Thinking about also getting an Elf to add to my quiver of sub 1m birds.

I have two Stellas. One that my son and I flew for many hours and one that still NIB. I just sold the first one to a friend that is trying out DLG and it's still flying great. I'm planning on building the second one as soon as I can find the time, just because it's so much fun to fly. The Stella is, by far, the best smaller DLG that I've ever flown.

What did you guys use for servos in your Stellas? I have one sitting in a box that I've been meaning to build out for quite a while. I really want to focus on building it out as light as possible as I've had R/E 1m birds before that weren't much fun to flight due to weight (too heavy for the small wing area) and with 4 servos in the Stella I really want to minimize weight. But I don't want servos I can't trust either or that are going to be a hassle to keep trimmed. In my full size DLGs I generally use DS285, DS188, MKS75K and like them all, but I think they'll all be more servo than this ship wants/needs (certainly the DS285 would be). I've used D47 on R/E before and consider them adequate if not particularly satisfying to use. Anyway, any recommendations you have would be appreciated. Thanks,

-John

I used d47s on the first Stella. They work ok but I think on the second one I'll use ds188s . Either that or KST X08s if I decide to go rudderless. I'm generally not a fan of rudderless but with the right amount of diff the Stella flies very well without it and its hard to keep it from being nose heavy with four servos in the pod. Of course there's always top-drive...
