February 3, 2013 Super Bowl XLVII Fly-In
It was one of those rare cloudy days in northern New Mexico. But the temperatures weren't bad and the winds were near calm. Super Bowl Sunday is a fine morning to fly. How many hours of pre-game can a guy watch anyway???
Six fliers were at the field today. And as long as you could pick out your plane from the soupy clouds, it was a nice day! Marc |

Reuben's Fleet
Reuben brought not one, but two planes to the field to maiden.
His first maiden was a GWS Slow Stick that required a little less than a foot to take-off.  The second plane was a nice scale Flyzone Sensei. Ross cheerfully accepted trimming duties, after which Reuben was able to get some quality stick time. Marc

Jack's Pitts M-12s
Jack has a new toy. It's a DLE55 powered Pitts M-12s. And it's a beauty.
Jack is doing a landing gear mod, so it didn't fly today. But it's an impressive looking plane just taxiing down the runway. Stay tuned for some inflight shots. Marc |

Full Scale
One full scale plane was doing touch-n-gos. He never got close enough to get a tail number. But it's a nice looking older high wing with trike gear.
