This might come too late, but there is an entire guide dedicated to making RealFlight G3 work in Windows Vista, and probably all of it--or at least almost all of it--applies to Windows 7 as well. It should at least prove to be a good starting point. It was written to address the most problematic scenario, which involved UAC set to its most interventionary setting.
Check it out. It is worth noting that starting with G4, RealFlight was designed with Windows Vista/7/8 in mind, and the above guide no longer applies. |
