I cut one side to make the folds and then used white duct tape. If I would have read I might have tried the no cut screen roller to make the folds. I do have wood 1/4 round moulding in the front and back top folds. The top is double thick as are the ends.

If I had to guess, it is just a shipment box the plane came in.

Me??

I made mine for Aluminium composite panel - (ACP) and aluminium angle

I got the decals cut by a local signwriter seeing as I am a "sponsored" pilot for ARMSOAR.

I should have gone for 3mm not 6mm though - it ended up a bit heavier than I wanted - but its all good .

thanks - was pretty easy to build.

next one will be lighter

materials - 1 sheet of 6mm ACP 2400 x 1200mm
1x5m length of 25x25x2.6mm aluminium angle
1x5m length to 40x25x1.6mm aluminium angle
Piano hinge
Rivets.
8 Plastic corner bumpers (not on it I this photo)
1 handle (like a suitcase handle - no in photo)
2 security hasp and staple locks - again not in photo.

measure 300 x 350 x1150 mm - will easily hold up to 8 planes - bit of overkill as I only have 2 gliders now...

Mine is made from coroplast and survived moving from Italy to France and from France to Canada. It has been used as a suitcase (I put my electric piano and all tools among other things together with the glider in there when taking plane or train).
