Interception!
Jean Tardiff now owns a BF 110, as well as his Tempest Mk II.

Looks great! I like how the pictures don't include the ground (because usually the size of the planes are given away.)

The BF 110 is not my design. Leccyflier, Do you think the extra 100 MPH or so gives the Tempest an advantage? It's too bad it arrived too late for the war in Europe. I think it would have aquitted itself quite well. As I understand it, it got better fuel mileage than the Mk V. With the same fuel, that extra range would have made it an even better "incursion" vehicle. I'm really glad that Jean sent me these photos. I've been quite busy with non-R/C issues this fall, and it felt very nice to see the planes in action. Ron Daniels |
