No-it's a Byron also.Set up like yours, but with inoperative retracts,and a Q-35.

I didn't ask why,but he's a guy who will repair or replace the disfunctional parts.

That is Rick Andres and it is a Ziroli Staggerwing with Robart Gear converted to electric

Color me embarrassed-did I get the engine correct? Prolly not!
He didn't retract the gear,so I thought he might have the same problem with leakage endlesslag had.

I humbly apologise for all my lies !......

It is a twin of sorts. I think a GT 80 The gear had a limit switch fail so the battery was completely drained :-(

I just found out there's going to be a staggerwing at the airshow in Culpeper next weekend. I'm going to call and ask if I can bring mine and display it next to the full scale model, and possibly (maybe wishful thinking) get a flying demo in during lunch

I'm going to give the airport a call and see if they can hook me up, I think it would be way cool to do.

Also the repair on the tail went well, there's only a minor paint mismatch.

We do model displays at local Airshows,and the management is always open for it.
There is a Parachutist display at the opening ceremony,and the models fly soon after.
Static displays are visited by many spectators,and we usually set up inside a roped off area.
Our local shows include helicopters,a biplane,aerobatic model,electric powered ,and a turbine powered plane.we get INVITED back year after year..

jetpropdlx- Excellent effort ! I got one of the first sets of plans for the Staggerwing from Ziroli.but never completed it.

Yours is a fine example of the builder's art.

It's this weekend..but unfortunately he went to oklahoma with the staggerwing on wednesday and won't be back til tuesday. I'm still gonna go check it out and look around, but I don't think I'll bring my staggerwing if the 1:1 version won't be there.
