Compatible sanding sealer?

I'm building an Aquila sailplane (the kit produced in the 70's) and intend to paint the fuze using TopFlight's LustreKote to match the Monokote color. I have the paint and the covering already.

I need to know what is a good and compatible sanding sealer. The paint can warns about using 'compatible' products with the color. I don't want to seal the balsa/ply fuze and have the paint peel off later. The guy at the store thought the LustreKote was a polyurthane but was not sure. If so, I could get a polyuthane sanding sealer or make one from clear polyurthane and some talc.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
dd.
