We are a group of high school students building a walking remote control robot for a senior project but need help with finding some of the right electrical components and programming.
Purpose: Be able to be controlled remotely and use legs as a means of transportation.
Dimensions: the chassis will be 2 ft long by 1 ft wide and from the top to the bottom of the legs will be 1 ft at its longest position.

What we need help with:
1. there will be seven motors which need to be continuous rotation servos the only problem with this is we don't know how to figure what the RPM or torque of these motors should have being that they are powering legs instead of wheels.
2. We were thinking of using an Arduino Uno as the control board but were wondering if it is capable of running seven servos and the receiver at once. We were also wondering if it could be programmed with LabView because we have no experience with the Arduino programming language.
3. We also need batteries. We were looking at lithium-ion battery packs such as this http://www.batteryspace.com/nimh-bat...zag-racer.aspx We want to know if this is the best type of battery pack for this purpose or if there is a better option.
