Project: twin 30mm edf with differential thrust.
I'm about to pull the trigger on another GP F-86. I have 2 already, their escs, motors, and fans will be project donors (The fan units fit nicely in Airhogs Jetscream ducts, btw.).
I'd like to (initially) use the GP reciever as well. I have aDx6i. I'd like to start with only diff thrust mixed with rudder(i have an external V-tail mixer),and an elevator for control.
The testbed for the system is a B2 bomber. I'll add ailerons later. The model currently has twin vertical fins. Ultimately, I'd like to see if an as3x reciever can be used in conjunction with the diff thrust, allowing reduction or removal of the rudder surfaces.
I'm not at all sure about how i might do this, or if it can be done at all.. I'm pretty sure I have to cut a wire on one esc, but which one? Guidance on that sort of stuff would be greatly appreciated, along with any other input or suggestions.
