Color is not as important as CONTRAST - lay a sample piece of covering over the wing. Take a digital picture and apply a grey scale filter (black and white film effect). The greater the contrast between the two coverings, the better you will be able to see them at a distance. I like to top the bottoms of my wings with contrast bands, 4-6 inches wide. I also like to run a flash strip along the LE - parrallell and above the point of the LE. When that slick airframe turns nose first to you and those skinny wings horizontal - it can be tough to see
